Fresh snow, clear air and the Engadin backdrop: from 4 to 11 December 2026, Schweizerhof, Sils Maria, hosts its cross-country skiing short weeks for the young at heart aged 50 and over, with four or seven nights to choose from.
Training takes place at 1800 metres in classic or skating technique, in groups for every ability. The coaching team led by Walter Spieler gets you in shape for the season, and beginners are as welcome as seasoned skiers. Companions who would rather enjoy the mountains and the scenery are part of it too. Simone and Michael Müller have hosted these weeks for many years.

Four nights: Friday to Tuesday, 4 to 8 December 2026, or Monday to Friday, 7 to 11 December 2026, from CHF 638 per person in a double room.
Seven nights: Friday to Friday, 4 to 11 December 2026, from CHF 1'146 per person in a double room.
Supplements: double room for single use CHF 25 per night, additional night in a single or double room CHF 140 without tuition. All prices in Swiss francs.
Good to know
Not included: trail pass, visitor's tax of CHF 6 per person and day, payable at the hotel, and cancellation insurance.
Wellness: the wellness area is closed for rebuilding. Guests use the Ovaverva in St. Moritz free of charge instead.
Getting here and parking: we recommend arriving by public transport. Parking is limited during the construction work and outdoor spaces are not available. The garage costs CHF 25 per day and the maximum height is 2.05 metres.
Your stay at the Schweizerhof
The hotel sits in the middle of Sils Maria, right on the Upper Engadin trail network that runs from Sils past Silvaplana to St. Moritz and into the Fex valley. After training, the four-course dinner and a seat in the restaurants and bar are waiting. Come and ski the trails with us in the Engadin this December.
