Engadin Festival 2025 – A Summer of World-Class Classical Music
From 21 to 24 August 202From 26 July to 8 August 2025, the Engadin Festival returns for its 85th edition—offering unforgettable classical music performances in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Enjoy a rich programme of renowned international artists, young talents, and atmospheric venues that make every concert a true experience.
Since 1941, the Engadin Festival has been one of Switzerland’s premier music events. Each summer, audiences gather in historic churches and elegant halls of the Upper Engadin to enjoy intimate concerts with world-renowned performers.
The 2025 edition features stellar names like The King’s Singers, Kit Armstrong, and the Pavel Haas Quartet, alongside emerging talents such as violinist Anna Naomi Schultsz and the Eurovision Young Musicians winner Leonhard Baumgartner.
Despite a change in programme due to Martha Argerich’s withdrawal, the lineup remains exceptional: pianist Denis Kozhukhin, pianist Alice Burla, and cellist Daniel Blendulf promise a magical evening, supported by actress Tonia Maria Zindel narrating Le Carnaval des animaux.
From open-air string quartets and light-hearted children’s concerts to moving solo recitals, this year’s programme captures the festival’s signature blend of elegance, excellence, and community.
