FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2026 - women's races in St. Moritz
.webp)
From 18 to 20 December 2026, the women's Alpine Ski World Cup races on the Corviglia slopes above St. Moritz, about fifteen minutes from Hotel Schweizerhof in Sils Maria.
The event
St. Moritz opens its winter with three days of top-level ski racing: Super-G on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December, then a Giant Slalom on Sunday 20 December. The Giant Slalom marks the discipline's return to St. Moritz for the first time in a decade, on the demanding Engiadina course. World Cup racing has a long history here, and the December weekend brings the circuit's fastest women to a resort that has hosted world championships and Olympic events alike.
Where to watch from Hotel Schweizerhof
The finish area on Corviglia is reached from St. Moritz, roughly 15 minutes from Sils Maria by car or Engadin Bus and then the mountain railway. Grandstand and standing tickets put you at the finish for the racing, the bibs and the crowd. Back down the valley, Sils stays quiet even on a race weekend, so you can trade the noise of the finish line for a still evening by the lake.
