St. Moritz Gourmet Festival 2026 - the first summer edition

The St. Moritz Gourmet Festival takes place in summer for the first time: from 25 to 30 August 2026, international guest chefs cook side by side with the Engadin's own kitchens at venues across the valley.
The event
Since 1994 the festival has been the culinary fixture of the St. Moritz winter. In 2026 it changes season, trading January snow for late-summer light. The format stays true to the original: visiting chefs take over the kitchens of partner houses for gourmet dinners, kitchen parties and one-off collaborations, joined by open-air events that only summer allows, from an opening day at Bever's historic train station to a guided hike with fine dining stops above Lake Silvaplana.
Around the village
Two partner venues sit within minutes of Hotel Schweizerhof: the Hotel Waldhaus up the hill in Sils Maria itself and the Nira Alpina in Surlej, ten minutes towards St. Moritz. The remaining venues spread along the valley as far as Bever, all within a half-hour drive or an easy ride on the Engadin Bus.
