WeekendKrimi 2027 - a murder mystery weekend in Arosa

From 11 to 13 June 2027, Hotel Altein Arosa becomes the setting for the WeekendKrimi "Lebendig begraben" by Peter Denlo. Look forward to three relaxed days in Arosa. Then, at the very first dinner, a shot rings out and the head of your charming neighbour at the table drops onto his plate.

The case: Lebendig begraben

Sepp and Agatha Moser are inviting guests to the 50th anniversary of their funeral home Ruhe Sanft. Behind the venerable facade lie envy, greed and old family feuds. When Agatha's favourite son Max is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the celebration turns into a nightmare. A puzzling case of blackmail spreads fear among the guests. Fog drifts across the grounds, white figures slip through the corridors and everyone is asking the same question: burial or cremation? As the clock counts down without mercy, a race against time begins. Who is playing this cruel game? And who will be the next laid to rest?

Expect a dark WeekendKrimi full of secrets, false trails and grim surprises. But be warned: the murderer is watching your every step. And the coffin is already open. Are you brave enough?

When and how

The WeekendKrimi starts on Friday with dinner and ends on Sunday at 12.00. In between, the case runs nonstop, throughout the house and in the middle of the guests. Two weeks before the weekend you receive an email with the key information about the case, a fictional biography and the schedule for the three days.

• Friday: check-in from 15.00, time for the spa and for settling in. At dinner, the case takes its course.
• Saturday: you search the hidden corners of the hotel for clues and put the suspects through their paces. Afternoon tea in between, and in the evening the second four-course dinner, where the story continues.
• Sunday: you hand in your solution in the morning, check-out is at 10.00. The case is then resolved and the best detective crowned, and the WeekendKrimi ends at 12.00.

Five actors carry the story through the whole weekend. It is played out between the tables, in the lobby and along the corridors, not on a stage.

Dogs: dogs are welcome and stay for a surcharge of CHF 25 per night. They are not allowed in the half board restaurant
Booking: rooms are sold non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or changed

The whole case plays out inside the house, so there is nothing to organise once you have arrived by train from Chur. Both dinners are served in our restaurants, and between rounds of investigation the 950 m² spa is where you top up your energy, on Friday afternoon after arrival or on Saturday before dinner.
